SANJH believe on the equal rights for all in the society, SANJH has worked for the protection of Human Rights in the society and awareness raising on Human Rights among the communities through its different interventions and projects. The major work of SANJH on Human Rights is human rights education, awareness on human rights, women rights education and linage among the victims and government departments.

SANJH Pakistan had implemented a project “Promoting harmonious and peaceful villages” with support of DAI and USAID in Shuja Abad Multan. SANJH has formed 25 villages’ peace committees in this project. Similarly, SANJH has conducted 24 theaters, 72 follow up sessions, five peace trainings and 9 big social actions.

In this project Sanjh lunched many advocacy campaigns. These advocacy campaigns helped communities of the targeted areas to know about their rights as well as to interact with the stakeholders in order to voice their grievances through proper available channels and provide them the platform to raise their concerns to the concerned departments and also sensitizing people not only to demand their rights but also to fulfill their duties as citizen. This process makes state accountable and also make the execution of their work transparent as well as created awareness about rights at grass root level and lead them towards grievance redressal. SANJH successfully completed a project to promote pace and tolerance through Interactive Theater funded by Umeed Jawan (Creative). SANJH had formed 25 Aman Committees and conducted 25 Awareness sessions. Similarly, SANJH has conducted singing and acting competition to promote Peace & Tolerance. SANJH has conducted 15 interactive theater plays and 15 singing programs to promote Peace & Tolerance.
SANJH has successfully completed a project of poetry competition to promote peace & tolerance funded by supported by Umeed Jawan/Creative/USAID. SANJH has conducted five poetry competition in district Muzaffargarh. SANJH has also published a book of poetry.

SANJH has implemented a small project with the support of Rutgers WPF on gender bases violence. SANJH has used the methodology of interactive theater to aware the general public about the gender-based violence and domestic violence. SANJH has engaged almost eight hundred men, women and children in this particular campaign.
SANJH has successfully completed a project of youth initiative donated by IOM/USAID. The name of project was “Prevention of Drug Abuse through Inter active Theater.” The objective of Project is “To give awareness to youth about prevention of drug abuse through interactive theater plays.” SANJH is running this project in 5 union councils (Mehmood Kot, Kashif Abad, Thatta Gurmani, Sinawan, Shadi Khan Monda) of district Muzaffargarh.
SANJH has established a free information and facilitation center to facilitate candidates of local government elections. SANJH has facilitated 24 candidates of local government elections.
SANJH has done a campaign on free and fair elections. SANJH has conducted interactive theater plays and seminars for purpose of awareness in following venues. SANJH has given awareness. This campaign was launched in district Muzaffargarh with the support of local NGOs and networks working on the same agenda. The objective of the project was to guide people about their right to vote and increasing voting turnover.
SANJH has organized many seminars and public Forums against Honor killing (Killing of women in the name of honor) at community level with the Support of Oxfam in 2009.
SANJH has implemented the human Rights awareness program with the collaboration of Democratic Commission for Human Development (DCHD). SANJH has learn about the project from DCHD and work for the awareness of Human rights with the help of different training programs on human rights education with youth, women, general public and other marginalized communities. SANJH has organized community meetings on human rights awareness, arranged many seminars and conducted many theater performances to aware different segment of the society about their basic rights.
