Description: –
SANJH is working on WASH in schools and rural communities to raise awareness on safe drinking water, safe sanitation, adopting best hygienic practices to create an open defecation free environment. SANJH has conducted five activities including (02-Session on health and hygiene, 01-hand washing demonstration, 02- awareness raising sessions) based on theme of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH). In all these activities, (215) participants remain engaged, aiming to raise awareness to create healthy & hygienic environment.
Apart from this, SANJH is organizing Interactive Theaters and Role Plays to sensitize the children on Water and
Sanitation issues, Hygiene promotions and to create neat and clean environment in Schools and communities to promote
Climate Resilient Inclusive & WASH Practices in Rural Communities. Moreover, SANJH has conducted some key activities
listed below.
a. Session on Health & Hygiene (Peer Pori Muzaffargarh & Dhori Wala Muzaffargarh)
SANJH team has conducted two sessions on health and hygiene in District Muzaffargarh (Punjab) in which (104) individuals participated followed by briefing to the participants on health & hygiene


b. Hand Washing Demonstration Exercise
SANJH team has conducted physical Hand Wash demonstration in District Muzaffargarh (Punjab) in which (29) Children and teacher participated. SANJH team sensitized the participants on the importance of washing hands especially critical timing i.e. killing of germs, Prevention from illness and to Keep ourselves healthy.


c. Kahan Khany se Pehly Sabun se Hath Dhoeen (A Message by SANJH)
SANJH conducted an awareness session on the importance of hand washing with soap namely “Khana Khany se Pehly Sabun se Hath Dhooen (A message by SANJH)” in district Muzaffargarh (Punjab) in which total (47) individuals including children and teacher participated that we can protect from germs before eating any meal. Participants actively participated in this activity while students grab the message behind the activity and promised to make it their habit for washing hand with soap before taking any meal/food.


d. Washroom Istemaal Ke Baad Sabun se Hath Dhoen (A Message by SANJH)
SANJH conducted sessions to promote healthy practices among people with entitled “Washroom ke Istemaaal ke baad Sabun se hath Dhoen (A key message by SANJH)”. SANJH team sensitized and mobilized the participants on this important message. In this session, total (35) students and children participated.
